Adele is a singer and songwriter. She sings and plays the guitar, drums, and bass. She was born in Tottenham, London, England. Her father left her to be raised by her mother when she was two years old. Her mother supported her and her eventual career. Adele graduated from the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in 2006.
Adele’s music career, thus far, has produced three albums and three concert tours. She has received numerous awards, including Grammy Awards and BRIT Awards, among many others. She has broken records and appears repeatedly in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Adele is married to Simon Konecki. They had a son in 2012. She has worked to keep their son’s life private.
Adele is known as a supporter of the LGBT community. She has performed charity concerts for various causes and charities. She is, also, a contributor for MusiCares. She has required backstage visitors at concerts to donate to SANDS to support families and do research on behalf of babies that die. Her work has continued to help and support others.
