Random Acts of Kindness are inspiring. Random Acts of Kindness are celebrated and appreciated at times and they do deserve to be. Many Random Acts of Kindness made today’s story possible.
Kevan Chandler is a young man with spinal muscular atrophy. This spiritual young man has many friends for whom he feels blessed. He is just around 65 pound due to his condition, has a wheelchair, however started getting around on his friends’ backs in a specially customized backpack to places where his wheelchair could not go. For example, he and his friends took a trip exploring sewers in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Their next ambitious trip was to go to Europe for three weeks. Kevan is a writer and also had friends film this trip to document their journey with its hope and possibilities on film. Among friends that were instrumental to this trip were Tom Troyer, Philip Keller, Benjamin Duvall, and Luke Thompson. Friends and strangers also helped with contributions to his GoFundMe page.
Some reports on their tale cite them as Florida natives and others cite them as North Carolina residents. Regardless of where they live today, many Random Acts of Kindness and giving acts made these friends’ dream possible. Approximately $30,000 was raised on Kevan’s GoFundMe page. They had a wonderful trip, went to many incredible sites, and have memories on film to treasure.
Be kind! Be inspired! Have a bright day!
