Helping others while staying true to yourself and your beliefs is inspirational.  At times, very successful people help others, stay true to themselves and their beliefs, and inspire others.  Tim Tebow is one of these people.


Tim Tebow is currently a free agent quarterback who has done broadcasting and been an author and more.  He has made records on the football field.  He has made the New York Times bestseller list as an author.  Throughout his public career life he has expressed his belief in God and shared his personal history with Christianity and other personal beliefs.


Tim Tebow was born in 1987 while his parents were missionaries in the Philippines.  He has four older siblings and they were homeschooled while living back in Florida.  Tim, however, did play football for a local high school.  ESPN and Sports Illustrated took notice of his high school success and records.  His success as a high school player led to a successful college football career at the University of Florida beginning in 2006.  He won the Heisman Trophy in 2007 and led the team to win the BCS championship in 2008.  He was voted the team MVP in 2007, 2008, and 2009.


Tim Tebow became a Denver Bronco in 2011.  He started as a back-up quarterback, however later went on to become the first NFL quarterback to rush for a touchdown in each of his three career starts.  He went on to briefly play with the New York Jets, New England Patriots, and the Philadelphia Eagles.


Philanthropy has been a significant part of Tim Tebow’s life.  Charity was part of his life during college.  After graduating from the University of Florida he founded the Tim Tebow Foundation in 2010.  Tim announced plans to build the Tebow CURE Hospital for children in the Philippines.  He continues to help others and stay true to his beliefs.


Tim Tebow is hosting the inspirational television program Home Free.  On this show people compete to give their hero a free home and for a cash prize.  The contestant’s personal hero may be their parents or a teacher or someone else that has inspired them in some significant way during their life.  Be inspired!  Have a bright day!
