A daily dose of Inspiration for you!

Inspiration can be found everyday.  There all kind of winners in life.  Often people think of athletes because winning is part of athletic contests, however there are many types of winners.  From reaching a goal to a lucky win, winning can be inspirational.

Drew Brees, like previously written about athletes, is an example of an inspirational athlete.  Drew Brees is an American football quarterback for the NFL’s New Orleans Saints.  While his career is inspirational in many ways, his work for the Brees Dream Foundation, the city of New Orleans, Habitat for Humanity, the international children’s charity Operation Kids, USO tours, the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, and the anti-bullying video It Gets Better are truly inspirational as well.  Drew Brees and his wife Brittany are dedicated to helping others and supporting causes and organizations to which they feel connected.

Examples of talented athletes inspiring and showing caring for others are abundant.  At times, lucky winners emerge to inspire as well.  This seems to be the case with the family that won the 2016 Powerball jackpot.  A single ticket won the 429.6 million dollar jackpot, however that ticket was claimed by a mother and her seven adult children.  The Smith family of New Jersey are the lucky winners.  The mother and her children want to help their church, their families, and their communities.  Some of them still have plans to work.  One daughter, for example, runs a program that puts at-risk girls in internships with powerful, inspiring women.  She has struggled with funding for the program in the past, but now knows she can fund the program when necessary.

Overcoming issues, working hard, and at times being lucky, can be inspiring.  Setting and then reaching reasonable goals can inspire.  Be inspired!  Have a bright day!
