A daily dose of Inspiration for you!

Do some people amaze you at how much they get done?  Are you one of those people who are constantly busy with work or projects?  Jackie Chan is one of those people.  He has made over 150 films.  He has made 20 albums.  Jackie Chan is a Hong Kong actor, martial artist, film director, producer, stuntman, singer, philanthropist, professor, husband, and father.  Wow!

Many of us have seen his action-comedies and cartoons made and released in the United States, however there is so much more.  His voice-work is not only in a cartoon blockbuster, but even in video games.  Jackie Chan has truly been a very busy man.  It started when he was an infant though.  His nickname was Pao-pao because that translates to cannonball and he was constantly on the go.  He started appearing in film at five.  He went to an opera school and started training in martial arts and acrobatics soon after.  Besides work that has led to his celebrity he spent some time as a young man working as a construction worker.

His stunts on film can be seen in outtakes and blooper reels.  He has been limited in the United States due to insurance.  He has been injured many times.  From broken body parts to almost dying when a fall resulted in a fractured skull his injuries have been numerous.  He has decided to back off stunts a bit to take better care of himself.  It has always mattered to him that his characters are good.  He has never wanted to portray a character who is in any way a villain.

Awards and accolades have been earned by and come to Jackie Chan.  He has been part of controversies as well.  He is a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and does charitable work.  He responds to natural disasters and their relief efforts.  He works for conservation and against animal abuse.  He has supported children and their education in several ways.  The charity he founded also provides many needed items to elderly individuals.  He pledged half of his wealth to charity upon his death due to his nature and the efforts of Bill Gates and Warren Buffett.  The good far outweighs the bad.  Despite some controversies he is a true humanitarian.

Jackie Chan is amazing!  Just writing about how much he has done makes tired!  No comparisons necessary!  Productive or not enjoy your day!
