A daily dose of Inspiration for you!

Live your life to the fullest.  Be 100%.  These are two things that come to my mind when I think about Meryl Streep.  She is an actress, voice actress, singer, film producer, spokesperson, wife, and mother.  She attended Vassar College, Dartmouth College, and Yale University.  She has received many awards and been nominated more than anyone else for Academy Awards.  She immerses herself into her roles and the result is that she gives herself and her complete capabilities to her acting.

Meryl Streep was born in New Jersey.  She sang at a school recital and then took opera singing lessons at twelve years old.  She enjoyed making home movies.  Her mother helped instill confidence and learn to be all that she could be.  She appeared in many more school plays and continued acting in college.

She moved to New York City in 1975.  She appeared in theater.  She acted in plays and sang in musicals.  She auditioned for film roles and continued to work on Broadway before landing her first film role in1977.  Her work led to Deer Hunter and her first Academy Award nomination.  This led to more roles and success.

Meryl Streep continues to work and has starred in many films.  She is a spokeswoman for the National Women’s History Museum.  She supports and campaigns for female empowerment.  She has established scholarships for different majors, supported older female screenwriters, and supported the Equal Rights Amendment.

Meryl Streep is not a religious woman.  However, she has a strong belief in people being the best they can be.  Everyone can bring their best to their life.  Do what you can to have a great day today and everyday.
